Of course, we follow all safety and hygiene procedures to the letter in order to guarantee all our guests a holiday with complete peace of mind.

Booking and Deposits

For bookings in 2020:
  • Option to check in ONLINE
  • Only if you book from our website, you can cancel your reservation free of charge
  • You can request to transform your paid deposit into a voucher for the same amount for your next holiday.
  • You can request to change the dates of arrival and departure, subject to availability at our property.

Cleaning and disinfecting the property

  • Here at the Gran Paradiso Hotel Spa we carry out a complete disinfection with disinfectants registered with the Ministry of Health as a Surgical Medical Treatment, based on chlorine and alcohol for all surfaces at the proper concentrations indicated by the WHO.
  • We periodically perform disinfection of the air conditioning coils and air changes.
  • Every common area is cleaned and disinfected following the specific procedures provided by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
  • We disinfect internal and external common areas
  • We guarantee the frequent cleaning and disinfection of all environments and spaces, with particular attention to common areas and frequently touched surfaces (handrails, light switches, elevator buttons, door and window handles, etc.)
  • The lifts are disinfected several times a day.

Cleaning and disinfecting the rooms

  • The rooms are sanitized and disinfected according to the procedures provided by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità after each checkout.
  • The linen is washed and disinfected directly in our laundry at high temperatures with highly disinfectant products, following the procedures provided by the Institute Superiore di Sanità.
  • We use specific medical and surgical products for all surfaces at the proper concentrations, supplied by an accredited company.
  • It is your right to request that during your stay the cleaning staff does not enter your accommodation unit.

Safety distances

  • In the common areas: our spaces are large and comfortable and it is possible to keep one and a half meters away from the other guests.
  • By way of special informative signs, you will be updated on every detail of every arrangement.
  • In the refreshment and dining areas: breakfasts and dinners are served in full compliance with the social distancing required by law.
  • Our breakfast is served as "table service", "room service" or as a buffet with single use portions.
  • Meals are served to a much smaller number of people than the total capacity of the rooms, ensuring social distancing.

Staff

  • All staff is equipped with virus containment devices (masks and gloves where required) for their own safety and that of our guests.
  • All staff have been trained on hygiene rules and procedures so that they can work safely for themselves and others.
  • Please contact our staff for questions, requests and to report any symptoms, so that all necessary precautions can be taken immediately.

Guests

  • Every object provided for use by the property to the guest, is disinfected before and after each use.
  • In the common areas of the hotel, as per the Government's DPCM, you can only access the hotel by wearing a mask.
  • In all common areas, in multiple locations, hand sanitizing gels are available for guests.
  • Where possible, keep a safe distance of at least 1 metre from other guests and staff members.
  • Please do not leave personal belongings or luggage in public areas.
  • Elevator access is allowed with the mask.
  • If you have fever or flu-like symptoms please inform the hotel staff.
  • Thermometers are available at the reception to conduct body temperature controls.

SPA and outdoor pool

  • Access to the SPA and outdoor pool is permitted. The water in the pools contains chlorine, which is a protective and disinfectant agent. For this reason, it is possible to access it by diligently observing the basic rules of each pool as well as social distancing.
  • In order to maintain the compliance with the social distancing and the ban on groupings, it is only possible to access the SPA in shifts and at a capacity that is not at maximum capacity.
  • We frequently clean and disinfect common areas, changing rooms, cabins, showers, toilets, equipment (deckchairs, chairs, loungers), with particular attention to objects and surfaces touched more frequently (e.g. handles, switches, handrails, etc.)
  • In all locker rooms or changing rooms, clothing and personal items must be stored in your personal bag, even if they are stored in lockers.
